We were a party of four adults and spent four nights and the mews house in the Russell Square area. The house (and it is a real newly renovated traditional mews house) is in a great and very quiet central location. The Russell Square tube station is 3 min away, and so are bus stops for various destinations in the city. Caio and Louise have invested a lot of time and effort to create a modern, sophisticated and well appointed space and designed to offer 5 star comfort to their guests. We were met by Caio when we arrived. He showed us the house and it’s many features. Caio also showed us a comprehensive package of touristic information in London and beyond as well as very useful information where to find a supermarket, restaurants and other useful services in the vicinity. We were also pleased to find a welcome food basket, a nice treat specially after a 11 hour flight. As a seasoned traveller, former resident of London, and frequent user of Airbnb, the mews house and Caio’s services have surpassed all our expectations and we will return! London is a great city to visit. If you are planning to come to London and want to treat yourself to something special, and your are reading this review to decide where to stay, don’t look any further!

Caio and his staff at Merino Hospitality excelled in providing us with wonderful accommodation in a helpful, friendly and efficient manner. The mews house was immaculate, centrally located and the finishing touches of a welcome basket and birthday cake for my mum, as we were on a family trip to celebrate her birthday, were all greatly appreciated. The mews house is the ideal spot for a weekend in London and the Bloomsbury area is a great place to stay!

Our family felt like we hit the lottery with this apartment in Bloomsbury. Everything about this apartment is first class. We had never been to London so we went in totally blind and could not have ended up in a better area of London. Bloomsbury was wonderful. Great shops and restaurants. The Tube was a 5 minute walk and in 20 minutes you could be in Covent Gardens. Most importantly the apartment could not have been nicer and Caio started us off with everything we needed. He spent over an hour with us when we moved in, showing us everything in the apartment and going through an information book that reviewed all of the restaurants and the tube. We wanted the king split into 2 twins and it was done very promptly. The apartment was cleaned and sheets changed halfway through our week. There was also a basket of bread, cereal, treats in the kitchen. A huge bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. Milk and eggs were in the refrigerator. Seriously where do you find that??? We highly recommend for a family and we will certainly return to them if we get back to London.

Caio and Louise were extremely helpful prior to our visit where they recommended local restaurant etc. The apartment was a great base for us to enjoy the city. The mews location is very quiet and safe. It was spotless and very well appointed. Lovely bedding and high quality towels etc. It is even better than the pictures if that is possible! Everything has been thought of and the hosts’ great knowledge and experience of the industry clearly shows. My mum was very sceptical when I told her that I’d booked an apartment instead of a hotel but now I can’t see her ever wanting to book another hotel room ever again!! I won’t hesitate in recommending to friends, family and colleagues should they be visiting London in the near future.
